Believe me - drivers in the New York city area should run to a Lexus dealer in New Jersey or New York. Of the 360 degrees we cover this one is not a Lexus dealership, not a Lexus customer, not a customer from a Lexus dealer in New Jersey, but a passenger with first hand knowledge that the people in the New York area need to find Lexus dealers as quickly as possible.

There was a post that mentioned someone in Queens looking for Lexus dealers in New Jersey or Lexus dealers in New York to but that new Lexus IS350. Take my word for it Lexus makes a car for New York, and contrary to the Andy Roddick commercial or what Lexus dealers in New Jersey or Lexus dealers in New York may tell you it is not the IS350.

Here's my story. I went to lunch the other day with a friend of mine. Since he's a really nice guy he drove. Truth is that he's a really big guy and I fit into his new Toyota Camry (see Poor man's Lexus) better than he could dream of fitting into my Mini convertible. As we arrive at the restaurant we're in luck, unlike most days, there are two spaces beside each other that are open. The first one of these even has shade! When he pulls in I'm a little confused because he misses the first space. Then I notice that we aren't exactly lined up in the slot that he chose. But hey, maybe it's just a feeling, so I crack my door open to check. Sure enough we're pretty much on the line at best. Not exactly the way you would want to park a Lexus. I look over and say to him - "You're from Jersey right?" because he is. We have a laugh as I point out that you people are not used to actually driving a car, it shows up in the little things like parking. And while I should have asked my friend to seek out an Lexus dealer in New Jersey for help I didn't. But wait, my story doesn't end there.

We go to lunch again the next day with another friend joining us. This time my big friend from New Jersey is driving an even bigger car, an Expedition. Once we get to a restaurant he pulls straight into an available spot. Problem for my friend with this is that we're lazy and want him to park by the entrance. Ok, we back it up, I start telling the other guy how my friend can't drive. We go to pull into a spot right in front between to other cars. As he's pulling in he starts to pause because with the angle he's taken it is really close on the driver's side front bumper. Does he stop? No. Does the other car start to move? Yes!

This is a true story, I rest my case: people from New Jersey can't drive, people from New York are worse. It's not their fault there's just no good reason for them to have a car in the city. Honestly, if I'm a Lexus dealer in New Jersey or New York I know that. So Lexus car dealers in New York have to be able to offer something else that defines what Lexus dealership New York means whether it's Lexus of Manhattan or Lexus dealers on Long Island.

Their problem is that they move to places like Phoenix that have a combination of poor mass transit and wide open spaces. Even worse they stay in the New York, New Jersey area where there is hardly any space at all. Every Lexus dealer in New York as well as those Lexus dealers in New Jersey should be showing off that new Lexus LS 460. You see Lexus has a solution to this problem, in particular the one my friend exhibited with parking.

And if you take a look at the video clip what channel is it from? CNBC. Can you say stock market, which is where? New York. She even mentions Boston and we know people can't drive there either.
