I'm sure any of the Lexus dealers in New Jersey just like the Lexus dealers in New York would be willing to entertain famous guys like Andy Roddick with Lexus cars as loaners all the time if they want them. The question is whether or not you think Lexus New York dealers want to picture him doing this for real in one of their high demand Lexus dealership cars? Maybe they got a Lexus dealer in New Jersey to supply the car.




Watching this commercial has to be fun for the local guys. Playing it out on showroom floor for potential customers and quizzing them to see if they can recognize which parts of the city were used in the final product. Being that Lexus car dealers in New Jersey and Lexus dealers in New York are competitive, there's probably nothing the guy on Long Island likes to point out to the gal in Manhattan than the fact that their burg is the one displayed in the companies big campaign. If you think that's bad, picture the Lexus dealers in New Jersey rubbing it in and how bad that would be.

Of course I have no idea where this commercial was shot, could have been Kansas. These are the facts: 
Lexus sponsored the US Open tennis tournament which took place in New York.
The IS350 is a sweet ride no matter which Lexus dealership  shows or sells it.
Any New York Lexus dealer is loving the opportunity to even think about taking credit for being the closest to the filming site.
