After searching Google to find a Lexus dealer in New York we have 2,340,000 sites to choose from which is not a reasonable result since we know there are not that many Lexus dealers in New York. There are not that many Lexus dealers in the New Jersey, that many Lexus dealers in Las Vegas or that many Lexus dealers in Chicago. We know this because there are not that many Lexus dealers in the world. How then should I proceed?

One of the first options is to simply choose from the Lexus car dealers that sponsor ads on this google search. The list on my search included:

Ray Catena Lexus Monmouth
Bay Ridge Lexus
Tri-County Lexus

These were the three Lexus dealers listed across the top as sponsored links. There are more New York Lexus dealers advertising on the side of the search page. These Lexus dealers are as follows:

Lexus of Manhattan
Prestige Lexus
Ray Catena Lexus
Rallye Lexus
Lexus of Massapequa
Lexus of Smithtown
Warnock Lexus
Lexus of Rockville Centre

At the bottom of the list there is also a link to more sponsored links. I clicked on this link to save you the trouble just to see where it would lead to and noticed that most of the listings are the same as the other ads. The only additional Lexus dealer listing is Lexus of Greenwich which sounds like Connecticut to me. After clicking on it out of curiosity I found that it is a Lexus dealer of Connecticut not Greenwich Village New York City.

While the additional sponsor ads were redundant they do have descriptions that say new and used car dealers if that info is helpful. None of these listings actually give an address as you can see. We all know Lexus of Manhattan is closer to New York City, but the others could be anywhere else in New York City or New York state. Considering the proximity of New York City to New Jersey and that we've already determined one listing is for a Lexus dealer in Connecticut several of these listing could be for Lexus dealers in New Jersey.

The only way of knowing where their located is to click on the site link and find the address. The search Lexus New York is also somewhat ambiguous in that it could refer to New York City or New York state. Since that's the case I expect that some of these results are more appealing to upstate Lexus shoppers for car dealers in areas like Albany and Buffalo.
