lexus cars, lexus dealers My previous post on this blog featured a highlight of the Lexus IS F, which is basically the manufactures race inspired coupe. Boasting high horsepower numbers and lightening quick stopping power the 2008 IS F was put against the 2008 BMW M3, which has been my favorite series since the mid 90’s. Car and Driver compared the two side by side and here is what they found.

For Lexus cars 0-60 in 4.4 (IS F) seconds is quick but the BMW M3 was able to beat that time by 3/10s of a second. The bottom line of the comparison test was that the M3 was a bigger threat on the track then any Lexus cars including the 2008 IS F but the IS F had a comfort aspect not seen in the BMW. That will be a selling point for this car when speaking to Lexus dealers. The performance statistics are leaning towards BMW but as a daily driver the interior is more functional and the ride is more comfortable in the Lexus IS F. There is no doubting the beauty of either of these vehicle (pics says a million words).
