Japanese Lexus dealers have called in a fuel pipe recall that is affecting 264,000 vehicles. This recall was sparked in Japanese Lexus manufacturing plants but since they ship vehicles all over the world many Lexus dealers have been affected. It is reported from AOL Money that 26,272 Lexus cars in America are part of this recall. Multiple lines of Lexus cars have been affected by this recall but only the GS 350 and IS 250 are sold in America. This recall affects those two vehicles which were made in 2005 possibly even 2006. If you own the 2005 version of these cars then you should contact your local Lexus dealers and ask them about faulty fuel pipes that have possibly corroded and cracked.
Japan has reported that 39 Lexus accidents may be attributed to a leaking fuel line. No one has been hurt yet but a leaking fuel pipe is not a safe situation. If you own a 2005 GS 350 or IS 250 you must contact your local dealer. This problem is adherently dangerous. This recall also affects Great Britian and Canada according to AOL Money.
